About Personal Driver:

What is Personal Driver?

The Personal Driver platform is a new concept who's main goal is to give all the power back to the people- to consumers and providers in the transportation industry as a whole. Any vehicle that requires a driver, and some sort of cargo will benefit from this platform. Unlike other platforms on the market, we do not claim to be a "RideShare Platform," instead we're a full-service business provider platform for drivers and a place for consumers to satisfy their transportation needs.

The Naming Scheme

The name "Personal Driver" is an easy to remember, houshold name turned into a business; however, there are several aliases we're open to. Namely, the ones listed above. One business name we're most interested in other than the primary "Personal Driver" is "Transportr.org." The thought behind this domain name is to provide catchy, all encompassing way to refer to the services we provide. This name would stick easier for customers, but seems to make less sense on the driver end.

In the thought proccess of name creation, I think of ways normal consumers would refer to "getting a ride" using our platform. Some phrases include:

"Let's get a personal driver, Anne!"

"Let's get a driver to the bar, alright. Don't want to catch a DWI, right."

"Just use Transportr."

"Let me call you a driver."

"Let me call you a transportr."

"I'll get a transportr to move the couch for us, I found a guy with a trailer who's willing to help load for an extra fee. It's easier than putting in the time ourselves or hiring a moving company to do it for us. This guy's name is Joe, and he's got some credible reviews, plus we can track real time with an option for cargo insurance. We'll send the invoice to you through the transportr app."

"How's Sarah going to get home? - She called a transportr, she'll be okay."

"We'll call a personal driver to tow your car to Houston. Because of the distance the driver normally charges a back-trip; however, since it's the holidays, they have family in houston so they're waiving the back-trip fee for us! Their up-front rate is 30/hr so it's only $150!"
